Stone House

Washington Park, Seattle

    Stone House

    Description:
Strikingly simple: two stone-clad, pristine gables linked together by a continuous skylight. Expansive glazing washes the interior spaces with natural light, accentuating the warmth and texture of the palette of natural materials. Contemporary, yet timeless and enduring – the architects distilled their design to its essence, eliminating unnecessary or extraneous elements. Lockhart|Suver built this home to last. It features a rigid steel, concrete and masonry structure, a water-tight foundation, meticulously detailed stone cladding, and metal roofing.
