Description:
A subtle and complex geometry underlies the design for this new home. The client, a mathematician, enjoys a vaulted skylight generated from a cycloid curve, and another with origami-like intersecting planes.
Stone terraces step off the kitchen in four directions, embracing the landscape. The home features vegetated green roofs, geothermal heating and cooling, and bamboo and polished concrete floors.
