Capitol Hill Kitchen
Description:
This new kitchen was designed in keeping with the spirit of a 1920s era bungalow home. The owners and their designer focused a delicate sense of scale and meticulous attention to the details to fit a dining nook, powder bath and a fully-equipped kitchen into a small existing space. Delightful touches include an arch-topped niche displaying a vintage rotary dial phone as a functional sculpture, a fold-down seat near the back entry hidden behind a cabinet door, and a docking station in a cabinet toe-kick where the floor cleaning robot hides when it’s not busily scrubbing the real linoleum floor.
