This turn-of-the-century Queen Anne Hill home remodel began with a kitchen update, and in the process revitalized the floor plan for modern living. Opening the kitchen to the formal dining room and aligning views to the entry and living room beyond took this once tucked-away kitchen and gave it center stage in a now very functional and flowing floor plan. The new design stayed true to period, matching the original materials and detailing with particular attention given to the scale and proportion of openings and room size. Other than the added modern conveniences, you would never know there had been a remodel.
